The road takes it's name for the famous artist Pietro Berretini known as "Pietro da Cortona".
Berrettini 23 is the result of 5 years fatigue to bring the old beams and ancient floors to light which were in a state of ruin  including an ancient well carved into the wall in the living room. This ancient home sleeps 6 people with the possibility a sofa bed for 2 other people.
On the first floor is the living room with corner bar characterised by the stone fireplace, 1 bathroom with shower and laundry.
An ancient staircase will bring you to the first floor where you will find a large kitchen built in stone with ancient niches used as cupboards and 1 double bedroom. On the second floor there is a twin bedroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower.
The rooms are characterised by ancient chestnut wood floors, arches and wood beams. All the rooms have been furnished with antique and traditional furniture which have been carefully restored, the beds are antique, wrought iron.
From the windows you can admire the lovely panorama which dominates the ancient roof tops of Cortona and a large part of the Val di Chiana. Berrettini 23 has the rare advantage, being in the town, of being able to park outside the door or nearby. An ideal choice for those who wish to spend a holiday in our Etruscan land just a stones throw from the main historical and artistic treasures and of the town.
